Cello repair help?luthiere prices?

i just had my birthday, and recieved a lot of money. im going to buy some strings, sound post,rehair bow, and set the post(obviously).How much is it for a luthiere replace and set a sound post? my sound post has a bunch of little holes, and im worried it will effect its sound(the holes are from me personally trying to set my sound post, which i will never do again). Or should i just have ithe post set in its good spot and not worry about the holes?then how much is that? now for the strings, im buying these pirastro aricore synthetic string set retailed at 239 dollars. would my luthiere have to change any thing on my bridge etc. because im swapping from steel strings, to synthetic strings? or would i just be paying him to put them on? and if thats the case ill put them on myself(done it before).
