My 60yr old has bronchiectasis which has widely spread to both the lungs since almost 5yrs now.He has been on?

allopathic medicines since then but the condition has only progressed.He is also a diabetic and takes insulin inj twice daily.Doctors in UK have given up hopes saying its has already involved most of the lung tissue.He has severe attacks of cough & purulent sputum.His diet comprises only of liquids & is on oxygen delivery now.We would like to look for an alternative therapy like ayurveda.Pls guide me,thankyou .
