What's the BEST alternate route from Buffalo Grove, IL to Milwaukee, WI to avoid the construction on US94?

Any other route you take is going to have you stopping for lights longer than construction will slow you down. You can try taking 83 all the way up north, but it is SLOW and long. Honestly, if you can stay out of rush hour, and just use the express lanes, 94 should be fine.
