I have a serious problem with my sansa c250?

Ok, it started freezing up on my every 2 minutes yesterday. I removed all songs from it, formated it, and replaced all the songs. It still froze, i formatted it, but it frozze midway through, and only removed half the songs. to make matters worse, it now freezes everytime i boot it up, and immediately upon connecting it to my computer. the main screen doesnt even open up every time i start it up, it only lights up blue. sometimes i get the recovery mode screen, in which case the computer recognizes it as J;\ formatting- 16MB, and the computer shows up as it beinga blank device. when i connect it otherwise, it usually freezes immediately, and the computer wont recognize it, when it doesnt freeze, the computer will recognixze it as usual, and i can view all the files, but its not long before it freezes, and the computer stops recognizing it. HELP PLEASE!
