Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 error with incompatible drivers causing lack of internet connectivity. Help?

On my HP (Windows 7) laptop I started to have internet conenctivity issues, and for a while I was able to work around it. When those tricks stopped working, I restarted, and something popped up from Kapersky about detections recently made, and a separate window popped up saying that the computer had incomatible drivers, and when I asked for further information it was related to Kapersky. Is there anything that can be done, or anyone who can explain to me what exactly the problem is?
