Should The New Yorker Magazine "dumb down" its content for the remainder of the Presidential election cycle?

If Obama doesn't "get" the intent of that cartoon, I shudder to think how he might misinterpret the actions of other nations whose cultures and mannerisms are totally different than what he learned in the USA.
