Why was NATO and Warsaw Pact fighting over Berlin than any other European country?

Berlin is not a country. Berlin, the historic capital of Germany, made it a prize and something like proof of victory in WWII. It was symbolic. The Warsaw Pact did not fight over Berlin. No one actually fought except for political fights. The West kept their part of the city as a foot hold in East Germany. The Soviets disliked it because others in the East could see the prosperity of the other side next to the drabness of East Berlin.
