Bearded dragon sick? helpppp?

My bearded dragon is about 5inches long so he is a baby... And awhile he got sand in his eye and I flushed it out and eventually he was fine and the eye was better. I took the sand out that was bad advice I got from a pet store. But anyway I have been doing everything right I have a uvb light and a basking light and night heat light. Everything was going great but a couple days I noticed his eyes were like shut like a cold in his eyes. So I dripped some warm water then I ran out and got tears eye drops and it doesn't seem to be helping. Today is almost looks like something white is in each eye. It almost looks like he has swollen eye lids or like something infected. I didn't want to bother him but because he doesnt like me puting the eye drops in. Im looking for a vet asap Im haveing trouble does any one have any adive on what I can do until I get to a vet...
