Will I gain weight after my hysterectomy?

The docs all say that you can keep this from happening. The women who've had one all say that weight gain is going to happen. I think a person just has to try harder to keep the weight off. I had a hysterectomy and I really gained weight but there may have been a lot of factors involved. Keep exercising and watch what you eat and the weight gain should be minimum, no more than 5 pounds.
